1. Who We Are
SA Best Tech is an online electronics store based in South Africa. We specialise in new and refurbished iPhones, smartphones, laptops, tablets, and accessories, and deliver nationwide in South Africa. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Using Our Website
You must be 18+ or have consent from a parent/guardian to place an order.
You agree to provide accurate information and not use the site for any illegal or fraudulent purpose.
We may update these Terms from time to time; the latest version applies to your order.
3. Products and Conditions (New vs Refurbished)
Each product page clearly shows if an item is new or refurbished, and the cosmetic/functional condition (for example: “Like New”, “Very Good”, “Good”).
Photos are for illustration but we aim to show the device condition as accurately as possible.
All devices are tested for core functions (screen, battery, speakers, cameras, buttons, network, ports) before being listed.
4. Pricing, Currency and VAT
All prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.
We may change prices at any time, but the price at checkout is the price you pay for that order.
Promotions and discount codes may be limited by date or stock and can be withdrawn at any time.
5. Placing Orders and Contract
Your order is an offer to buy products from SA Best Tech.
A binding contract is formed only when:
You complete payment, and
We send an order confirmation email.
If we cannot fulfil an order (for example, stock issue or pricing error), we will notify you and issue a full refund.
6. Payment Methods
We aim to make payment easy and flexible:
Secure card payments via our payment gateway (where available).
PayPal (where available).
Manual bank transfer / EFT (instructions shown at checkout and on your order confirmation).
Other methods may be added from time to time.
Orders paid by manual EFT are processed once payment reflects or valid proof of payment is received, at our discretion.
7. Shipping, Delivery and Risk
We deliver across South Africa using reputable couriers.
Shipping options and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout.
Once we hand your parcel to the courier, risk of loss passes to you, but we will help you follow up with the courier if there is a delay or loss.
Please check your delivery address carefully. Re‑delivery or address changes after dispatch may incur extra courier fees.
8. Easy, Lenient Returns and Exchanges
We want you to be happy, so our returns policy is intentionally simple and more generous than many electronics stores.
8.1 14‑Day Change of Mind (No Questions Asked)
You may return most products within 14 days of delivery for a refund or store credit, even if you simply changed your mind.
Conditions:
The device must be in the same condition as received.
All accessories, free gifts, and original packaging should be included.
You are responsible for return courier costs unless we made a mistake.
If the item is not in the same condition (missing accessories, extra scratches, etc.), we may offer a partial refund or store credit instead of a full refund.
8.2 30‑Day Faulty on Arrival Guarantee
If your product is faulty on arrival (hardware issue, not caused by damage, water or misuse) within 30 days from delivery, we offer:
Free repair, or
Replacement with the same or similar model, or
Full refund if repair or replacement is not possible.
We will cover reasonable return courier costs if the device is confirmed faulty.
8.3 How to Log a Return
Email or WhatsApp us with:
Your order number,
A brief description of the issue, and
Photos or short video showing the problem where possible.
We will:
Approve the return and send you instructions, or
Ask for more details if needed.
9. Warranty Policy
We keep warranties straightforward and fair:
New devices:
Usually come with manufacturer warranty (Apple or original brand).
Where applicable, we help you use the manufacturer’s warranty or, at our discretion, handle it through SA Best Tech.
Refurbished devices (iPhones, smartphones, laptops):
Standard 6–12 month hardware warranty (the exact period is shown on each product page).
Warranty covers defects in normal use: motherboard, screen faults not caused by impact, internal components, charging issues, etc.
What is not covered:
Physical damage (cracks, bends, broken ports, impact).
Liquid / water damage.
Damage from unauthorised repairs or software modifications.
Normal wear and tear (for example, minor cosmetic marks, expected battery health decrease over time).
We always aim to repair first; if repair is not possible or economical, we will replace with a similar device or offer store credit or a refund, depending on the situation.
10. Cancellations
You may cancel an order before it is dispatched and receive a full refund.
If the order has already shipped, it becomes a return and is handled under the Returns Policy above.
11. Limitation of Liability
SA Best Tech is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss (such as loss of data, loss of business, or loss of profit) arising from the use of our products or website.
Our total liability in connection with any product is limited to the purchase price you paid for that product, to the extent allowed by South African law.
12. User Accounts and Behaviour
You are responsible for keeping your account login details secure.
You agree not to:
Use our site to transmit viruses or malicious code.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.
Abuse, harass or defraud SA Best Tech or other users.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including our name SA Best Tech, logo, images, text and graphics, is owned by or licensed to us.
You may not copy, reproduce or use any content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
14. Privacy
